Learn Chinese Calligraphy – Standard Script at the Asian Civilisations Museum, Armenian Street, on Wednesday, 7pm to 9pm. 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 Mar and 6, 13, 20, 27 Apr and 4 May. $100/participant for 10 lessons. Materials at additional cost. Available for purchase on the first lesson. Limited to 16 participants. Pre-registration needed. In Chinese calligraphy, there is a style known as Standard script (Kai Shu) which are characterised by their squarish shape and coherent structure. Under the coaching of established calligrapher, Mr Tan Shee Ping, you will be able to complete a piece of Standard script at the end of the course. The course is conducted in English. There are some indoor playgrounds which we haven’t tested yet, please let us know if they are suitable for twins! The Fun Maze is open from 10am to 10pm at either Tampines Mall or Parkway Parade and you have to pay SS$8 per hour. And then there is SAFRA at Toa Payoh on Lor 6. Weekdays it opens from 1-7pm and on weekends from 9am to 7pm. Non-members have to pay S$3,10 on weekdays and S$5,20 on weekends. |
